Oakes, ND.

If you are a landscaping company in Oakes and the phone is not ringing the way it should, the site is the problem. We build websites for landscaping companies that rank where the buyer is searching, on the day the buyer is searching.

Why your Oakes site is not bringing leads

The lead you are losing is happening right now.

It is March in Oakes and the lawn is half-thawed. The homeowner is on her phone Googling 'lawn care Oakes' before the snow is gone, because she does not want to be a month late on signup like last year. Whoever has a real service-and-town page closes the season. The rest of you scramble for what is left in May.

What is actually broken

The reasons landscaping companies in Oakes lose work.

A competitor's site shows up first in Oakes searches. Yours does not. The why is structural, not a copy tweak.

Spring rush brings 100 calls in two weeks then nothing books for July.

Your hardscape portfolio is your best work, but the site buries it on one services page.

Snow contracts get signed in October, but you have no online way to capture inquiries.

Three other landscapers in town have nicer websites than you.

How Bindingstone fixes it

One website. A real page for every service in every town you serve.

Most websites are 5-page brochures. Yours becomes a matrix: every service you sell, in every town you cover, on its own page that ranks for the search that matches it. The page count compounds. The ranking compounds. So does the lead flow.

  1. A page for lawn care, design, hardscape, irrigation, and snow in each town you cover.
  2. Portfolio page that loads fast and updates without a developer.
  3. Seasonal landing pages (spring cleanup, fall, snow) that rank when the search happens.
  4. Built to look like the company behind the work, not a template.
Real work, real numbers

Three recent client sites. Real numbers.

Same approach, three different home-service industries. These numbers come from the live sites running today.

What changes when this works

Six months in. What is different.

By next spring, your seasonal signup is filled by March 1, not by July 4. Mowing, fertilization, weed control, landscape design, hardscaping, and snow removal: each pulls leads from its own search in every town. The customer signed up months before the first cut because your site spoke to her in February when she was actually shopping.

  1. Week 1Service-and-season matrix approved.

  2. Week 2Site live with online signup form and seasonal landing pages.

  3. Month 3Ranking for spring-signup and seasonal-service searches across Oakes.

  4. Month 6Whole season booked weeks before the work starts.

What it costs
$497 / month

Month to month · Bring your domain · We build, host and own the site · Walk away whenever

For reference A full year of this is less than what most contractor-marketing agencies charge for the discovery deck.

Same price whether your site has 20 pages or 200. Hosting, updates, Google Business Profile, and the lead form all included. Nothing extra to bolt on, nothing metered, no surprise invoice when traffic grows.

What is in the $497: design, build, hosting, lead form, Google Business Profile management, monthly content updates, and the owner who built your site picking up the phone when you call. No middlemen, no per-page upcharges, no offshore subcontracting.

How it works: you are subscribing to the website, not buying it. We build it, host it, and keep adding to it every month, and it stays ours — that is why nothing is due up front and nothing ties you in. Your domain is yours and so is every lead it brings you. Cancel and the site comes down, and we point your domain wherever you say.

Questions landscaping companies in Oakes ask

Quick answers.

How much does landscaping website design in Oakes, ND cost?

Flat $497 a month. No setup fee. No contract. Cancel any time. That covers the custom website, hosting, security, contact form, and monthly copy and search updates. Domain registration is included if you do not own one yet.

How fast can a landscaping company's website go live in Oakes?

Usually one to two weeks from our first call. The last two sites we launched went live in 10 days and 6 days. Your Oakes site can be ranking the same week.

Who actually builds landscaping companies' websites at Bindingstone?

The owner. One studio in Wisconsin. No middlemen, no overseas teams, no offshore subcontracting. We work with US companies only. Oakes is one of 50 North Dakota towns we cover, plus markets across the Upper Midwest.

Do you only work with landscaping companies in Oakes?

No. We build landscaping websites for landscaping companies across North Dakota including and Jamestown. Every landscaping company client we work with gets a page for every town they serve, not just the one they are based in.

What happens to my website if I cancel?

You keep your domain and every lead the site captured. The website itself stays ours - it is a service we build, host, and run, not a file we hand over - so we take it offline and point your domain wherever you want. No exit fee. No fine print. Same policy for Oakes clients as anywhere else.

Do you guarantee my landscaping company's site will rank in Google for Oakes?

Nobody honest will promise you a Google ranking, and we will not either. What we promise is the work: a site built right, set up for local search from day one, with a real page for landscaping website design in Oakes so you actually have a shot at ranking. That is more than most of your competitors have.

The Oakes market, briefly

Why a landscaping company website that ranks here is not the same as one that ranks somewhere else.

Oakes is a small south-central North Dakota city. The agricultural service area and the residential base keep service-business work reliable.

Oakes has no National Register historic district - just four individual listings, and every one is a downtown commercial building on or near Main Avenue: the Klein and Sutmar Block, the Oakes National Bank Block, the 1935 Post Office, and the Walter T. Noonan House on South Seventh. So there is no protected residential fabric here, just a working railroad-era small city platted in 1886. The homes are ordinary early-1900s frame stock, which is where the trade work lives: roof and siding replacements, foundation and basement repair, and full-gut interior remodels on houses that predate any of it.

The old money was rail. The town is named for Thomas F. Oakes, president of the Northern Pacific, and it grew as the meeting point of several lines feeding grain elevators. The current money is irrigated agriculture: the Garrison Diversion project authorized the Oakes area for roughly 45,980 acres of irrigation, and the sandy Maddock loam that would fail as dryland turns profitable under center pivots growing potatoes, sugar beets, edible beans, and corn. NDSU has run its Oakes Irrigation Research Site about four and a half miles south since 1970, and the other steady payroll is CHI Oakes Hospital, which replaced its half-century-old building with new construction in 2007. Your buyers are the irrigation-equipped operators and the businesses that serve them.

The defining fact is flatness and cold. Oakes sits about a mile east of the James River at roughly 1,300 feet, on prairie so level the Jim is one of the flattest rivers in North America, dropping under a foot per mile. Winters run brutal, with lows regularly below zero and stretches under 15 below, which drives deep ground frost and forces footings, posts, and slabs below the frost line or they heave. Concrete coatings and any exterior work have to survive that freeze-thaw and the open-prairie wind, so anything set shallow or laid over unprepped substrate will not last a second season.
