The short version

This is the marketing website for Bindingstone Software. Information here is general, not a contract. The actual contract between you and Bindingstone for the Custom Websites plan or any other engagement is the signed agreement we send you after the discovery call. If anything on the website conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.

Custom Websites plan specifics

  • Flat $497 per month, billed monthly in advance.
  • No setup fee.
  • Month to month. Cancel anytime by emailing [email protected]; we pro-rate nothing and bill nothing further from the next billing cycle.
  • Your domain is yours. It stays registered in your name and we point it wherever you tell us, including on the way out.
  • Your content is yours: your logo, your photos, your business information, and every lead the site ever captured. We export the leads to you on request, at any time.
  • The website itself is ours. The design, the code, the page structure, and the hosting are the service you subscribe to, not a deliverable we ship you. Nothing about it transfers to you, during the plan or after it. We do not hand off site files or source code.
  • At cancellation we take the site offline and release your domain. That is the trade for no setup fee and no contract: you are renting a system that works, not buying a file.
  • We make no guarantee about Google rankings. We do guarantee the work: a site built well, structured for local SEO, and maintained.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your business, services, and license status.
  • Do not request content that is false, deceptive, or violates anyone's intellectual property.
  • Pay your invoice. If a payment fails, we'll email you; if it stays unpaid for 14 days, the site is paused until it's resolved.

Our responsibilities

  • Build the site as described in your engagement agreement.
  • Keep the site running with at least 99.9% monthly uptime (our hosting target).
  • Reply to inquiries within one business day.

Limits

We are a small studio. We can't be liable for amounts greater than what you've paid us in the prior 12 months. We aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. None of this affects your statutory rights.

Governing law

Wisconsin law governs. Disputes go to the courts in Douglas County, Wisconsin.
