Why your Hudson site is not bringing leads

The lead you are losing is happening right now.

A hail storm just rolled through Hudson. Homeowners are looking at the ceiling and Googling 'roof inspection Hudson' before the rain has stopped. Whoever shows up first wins the inspection, then the insurance claim, then the full re-roof. Right now that company is an out-of-state storm chaser. Your truck is already in the neighborhood and your site is on page two.

What is actually broken

The reasons roofing companies in Hudson lose work.

A competitor's site shows up first in Hudson searches. Yours does not. The why is structural, not a copy tweak.

Storm chasers from three states away outrank you for your own town.

Insurance-claim work is half your revenue but your site barely mentions it.

Material types (asphalt vs metal vs flat) are buried on one services page.

Lead forms go to a generic inbox and nobody follows up for two days.

How Bindingstone fixes it

One website. A real page for every service in every town you serve.

Most websites are 5-page brochures. Yours becomes a matrix: every service you sell, in every town you cover, on its own page that ranks for the search that matches it. The page count compounds. The ranking compounds. So does the lead flow.

  1. A page for each material and each service in each town you cover.
  2. Storm-response page that ranks before the out-of-state chasers do.
  3. Insurance-claim page that pulls leads with a specific reason to call.
  4. Lead form that pings your phone the second it is submitted.
Real work, real numbers

What changes when this works

Six months in. What is different.

By next storm season, you are the Hudson roofer that homeowners find before the first claim is filed. Storm-damage, full re-roof, repairs, and gutters: each is a page that pulls leads from the search that matches it. The customer comes in pre-educated about your warranty and the price range so the inspection meeting closes faster, with less pressure.

  1. Week 1Material-and-town matrix approved, plus storm-response pages per service area.

  2. Week 2Site live with storm-damage page front and center. SMS lead routing wired to your phone.

  3. Month 3Ranking for storm-damage and insurance-claim searches in Hudson.

  4. Month 6Inspection appointments booked through the site, not just referrals.

What it costs
$497 / month

Month to month · Bring your domain · We build, host and own the site · Walk away whenever

For reference A full year of this is less than what most contractor-marketing agencies charge for the discovery deck.

Same price whether your site has 20 pages or 200. Hosting, updates, Google Business Profile, and the lead form all included. Nothing extra to bolt on, nothing metered, no surprise invoice when traffic grows.

What is in the $497: design, build, hosting, lead form, Google Business Profile management, monthly content updates, and the owner who built your site picking up the phone when you call. No middlemen, no per-page upcharges, no offshore subcontracting.

How it works: you are subscribing to the website, not buying it. We build it, host it, and keep adding to it every month, and it stays ours — that is why nothing is due up front and nothing ties you in. Your domain is yours and so is every lead it brings you. Cancel and the site comes down, and we point your domain wherever you say.

Questions roofing companies in Hudson ask

Quick answers.

How much does roofing website design in Hudson, WI cost?

Flat $497 a month. No setup fee. No contract. Cancel any time. That covers the custom website, hosting, security, contact form, and monthly copy and search updates. Domain registration is included if you do not own one yet.

How fast can a roofing company's website go live in Hudson?

Usually one to two weeks from our first call. The last two sites we launched went live in 10 days and 6 days. Your Hudson site can be ranking the same week.

Who actually builds roofing companies' websites at Bindingstone?

The owner. One studio in Wisconsin. No middlemen, no overseas teams, no offshore subcontracting. We work with US companies only. Hudson is one of 110 Wisconsin towns we cover, plus markets across the Upper Midwest.

Do you only work with roofing companies in Hudson?

No. We build roofing websites for roofing companies across Wisconsin including River Falls, and New Richmond. Every roofing company client we work with gets a page for every town they serve, not just the one they are based in.

What happens to my website if I cancel?

You keep your domain and every lead the site captured. The website itself stays ours - it is a service we build, host, and run, not a file we hand over - so we take it offline and point your domain wherever you want. No exit fee. No fine print. Same policy for Hudson clients as anywhere else.

Do you guarantee my roofing company's site will rank in Google for Hudson?

Nobody honest will promise you a Google ranking, and we will not either. What we promise is the work: a site built right, set up for local search from day one, with a real page for roofing website design in Hudson so you actually have a shot at ranking. That is more than most of your competitors have.

The Hudson market, briefly

Why a roofing company website that ranks here is not the same as one that ranks somewhere else.

Hudson is on the St. Croix River at the Wisconsin-Minnesota line and one of the fastest-growing western Wisconsin communities. Service-business demand pulls from both sides of the river, including from Twin Cities commuters who own homes here.

Hudson has two National Register historic districts - the Second Street Commercial District downtown, with 22 contributing buildings, and the Sixth Street Historic District, two residential blocks of 12 dwellings built between 1860 and 1925 - plus nine more houses listed individually. The grand homes on Third Street are listed one at a time rather than as a district, including the Moffat octagon house of 1854, listed in 1974, and the Phipps house of 1884, listed in 1987. That old core is Greek Revival, Italianate and Queen Anne wood frame: clapboard, storm windows, and roof lines with towers and verandas that do not price out like a rectangle. Everything outside it is new money and new stock - the city grew 58 percent after 2000 and went from 12,719 people in 2010 to 14,755 in 2020 - so the same contractor bids 1870s trim repair one week and a 2015 subdivision reroof the next.

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, runs its global headquarters here, a 285,000 square foot molding and assembly plant with almost 64,000 square feet of Class 7 and 8 cleanrooms making pharmaceutical and diagnostic devices. Hudson is the county seat of St. Croix County, population 93,536 in 2020, and Hudson Hospital and Clinic is a 25-bed critical access hospital that opened in 1953 and joined HealthPartners in 2008. But the buyer who matters is the commuter: St. Croix County sits inside the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, it was Wisconsin's fastest-growing county from 2000 to 2010, and downtown St. Paul is about fifteen minutes west. Those households price your work against Twin Cities suburbs, not against rural Wisconsin, and they expect the quote, the photos and the scheduling to match.

The old money was lumber and the river. The first sawmill went up at the mouth of the Willow River in 1848, Hudson's mill was one of 17 lumbering operations on the St. Croix by 1872, and the steamboat trade ended when the railroad reached town in 1871. Rail took over: the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway formed in 1881 and headquartered in Hudson, and its car shops opened just upriver in North Hudson in 1890 and 1891 with 160 men, anchoring that side of the water for nearly eighty years until they closed in 1957 and the work went to Clinton, Iowa. What has not changed is the ground: Wisconsin's dwelling code requires footings 48 inches below grade or below frost penetration, whichever is deeper, among the deepest requirements in the country, and on Hudson's bluffs above the St. Croix the deck posts, stoops and slabs that get shorted on depth heave and show it by the second spring.
