Why your Superior site is not bringing leads

The lead you are losing is happening right now.

It is 2 a.m. in Superior. A pipe just burst in someone's basement. The homeowner is on her phone, panicked, with three inches of water on the floor. She Googles 'water damage Superior.' She calls whichever restoration company loads first with a phone number visible and '60-minute response' on the page. Right now that company is whoever ranked first this week. It should be you, every week.

What is actually broken

The reasons restoration companies in Superior lose work.

A competitor's site shows up first in Superior searches. Yours does not. The why is structural, not a copy tweak.

24-hour emergency calls go to whichever site loads fastest with a phone number visible.

Insurance carriers prefer companies with a real online presence; yours does not have one.

Mold is a separate search than water damage, but your site lumps them.

Commercial restoration is half your revenue but invisible on the site.

How Bindingstone fixes it

One website. A real page for every service in every town you serve.

Most websites are 5-page brochures. Yours becomes a matrix: every service you sell, in every town you cover, on its own page that ranks for the search that matches it. The page count compounds. The ranking compounds. So does the lead flow.

  1. A page for water, fire, mold, and storm damage in each town you cover.
  2. 24-hour phone number sticky on every page.
  3. IICRC and insurance badges surfaced site-wide.
  4. Commercial restoration page that speaks to facility managers, not homeowners.
Real work, real numbers

What changes when this works

Six months in. What is different.

Eighteen months in, the Superior homeowners who walk into a wet basement or wake up to smoke damage find you in three seconds. Water, fire, mold, storm, biohazard, commercial: each is a page that ranks for its own search. Insurance carriers see you on the first call because your site looks like a company they have heard of. Commercial property managers fill out the form on the page that was built for them, not for homeowners.

  1. Week 1Loss-type-and-town matrix approved (water, fire, mold, storm x every town).

  2. Week 2Site live with sticky 24-hour line and IICRC/insurance badges on every page.

  3. Month 3Ranking for water-damage and fire-damage searches in Superior.

  4. Month 6Insurance referrals routing through the site. Commercial leads coming in directly.

What it costs
$497 / month

Month to month · Bring your domain · We build, host and own the site · Walk away whenever

For reference A full year of this is less than what most contractor-marketing agencies charge for the discovery deck.

Same price whether your site has 20 pages or 200. Hosting, updates, Google Business Profile, and the lead form all included. Nothing extra to bolt on, nothing metered, no surprise invoice when traffic grows.

What is in the $497: design, build, hosting, lead form, Google Business Profile management, monthly content updates, and the owner who built your site picking up the phone when you call. No middlemen, no per-page upcharges, no offshore subcontracting.

How it works: you are subscribing to the website, not buying it. We build it, host it, and keep adding to it every month, and it stays ours — that is why nothing is due up front and nothing ties you in. Your domain is yours and so is every lead it brings you. Cancel and the site comes down, and we point your domain wherever you say.

Questions restoration companies in Superior ask

Quick answers.

How much does restoration company website design in Superior, WI cost?

Flat $497 a month. No setup fee. No contract. Cancel any time. That covers the custom website, hosting, security, contact form, and monthly copy and search updates. Domain registration is included if you do not own one yet.

How fast can a restoration company's website go live in Superior?

Usually one to two weeks from our first call. The last two sites we launched went live in 10 days and 6 days. Your Superior site can be ranking the same week.

Who actually builds restoration companies' websites at Bindingstone?

The owner. One studio in Wisconsin. No middlemen, no overseas teams, no offshore subcontracting. We work with US companies only. Superior is one of 110 Wisconsin towns we cover, plus markets across the Upper Midwest.

Do you only work with restoration companies in Superior?

No. We build restoration websites for restoration companies across Wisconsin including and Ashland. Every restoration company client we work with gets a page for every town they serve, not just the one they are based in.

What happens to my website if I cancel?

You keep your domain and every lead the site captured. The website itself stays ours - it is a service we build, host, and run, not a file we hand over - so we take it offline and point your domain wherever you want. No exit fee. No fine print. Same policy for Superior clients as anywhere else.

Do you guarantee my restoration company's site will rank in Google for Superior?

Nobody honest will promise you a Google ranking, and we will not either. What we promise is the work: a site built right, set up for local search from day one, with a real page for restoration company website design in Superior so you actually have a shot at ranking. That is more than most of your competitors have.

The Superior market, briefly

Why a restoration company website that ranks here is not the same as one that ranks somewhere else.

Superior is the Wisconsin side of the Twin Ports. The service-business market pulls from both Superior and the bridge-traffic from Duluth, MN, which doubles the effective service area for companies that show up well online.

Superior has no National Register historic district - a scattering of individual listings and nothing more - because the city was platted for a boom that never finished. Out-of-state money went up on Tower Avenue between 1888 and 1892 in speculative business blocks named for the investors' home states (the New Jersey Block, the New York Block, the Minnesota Block), and then the Panic of 1893 stopped it cold. Population peaked at 40,384 in 1910 and sits under 27,000 today, so the housing stock was built for a city half again as big, and roughly a third of Superior homes predate 1940. That is replacement work rather than restoration: old roofs, old porches, old basements, and no design review standing in the way.

The Cenovus Superior Refinery, running since 1951, is the only oil refinery in Wisconsin - about 50,000 barrels a day, nearly 300 full-time employees, and a $1.2 billion rebuild after the 2018 explosion that brought it back online in 2023. Enbridge's Superior Terminal covers 550 acres with 12 million barrels of shell capacity, and Amsoil, which put the first API-certified synthetic motor oil on the market in 1972, still runs its headquarters in town. Add BNSF's rail operations and Essentia Health, and the buyer here is shift-work and steady: paid-off houses, real wages, and no interest in a contractor who does not call back.

The old money was lumber and iron ore. Martin Pattison made his in both and built Fairlawn, a 42-room mansion finished in 1891 and now a city museum. The current money moves through the harbor: the Port of Duluth-Superior sits 2,342 miles from the Atlantic as North America's farthest-inland freshwater seaport, handles more than 35 million tons a year, and is the largest port on the Great Lakes by tonnage. What that geography does to exterior work is the part that matters - Wisconsin's dwelling code puts footings at a minimum 48 inches below grade, and the lake stretches the freeze-thaw cycling well past the calendar, so footing depth and drainage detailing decide whether a slab, apron, or coating lasts here.
